  • Katy Wakefield Yoga teacher North Berwick

    “Hi, I’m Katy, Founder of Move!”

    Katy has a passion for not just yoga but all and any kind of movement. She firmly believes it is what keeps the mind and body happy and healthy. Move it or lose it - a little a lot, mindfully or physically.

    When not teaching Katy is a keen runner and loves being in or near the sea.

    Connection and kindness along with fun and laughter (and occasionally some sweat!) can be expected in Katy's classes.

  • Angela Edwards Yoga Teacher North Berwick

    “Hi, I’m Angela, scientist and serial studier!”

    Angela is a part-time scientist, part time yoga instructor as well as mum of two, plus gorgeous spaniel Layla.

    Angela has been practicing yoga for almost 20 years and teaching since 2018. She various styles including ashtanga, kids, chair, meditation, menopause, yin and restorative. Angela is trained in yoga for trauma and is also an advanced Reiki master. Expect a fully planned out class with Angela and often a few surprises too!

  • Vharri McMinn Yoga Teacher North Berwick

    “Hi. I’m Vharri, passionate health advocate!”

    Vharri, Personal trainer & Pilates instructor for over 15 years, is unbelievably passionate about her job and believes in the power of a strong healthy body and mind too. Vharri loves wakeboarding, paddleboarding and sea dips. For relaxation she likes to hang out with her large house rabbit, who acts more like a dog!

    She believes exercise should be enjoyable and her classes will leave you feeling happier and stronger both mentally and physically!

  • Siobhan Gough

    "Hi, I'm Siobhán, dog mum and sea swimmer!"

    As an emergency service worker in East Lothian, Siobhán knows the importance of mental wellbeing. After getting shingles and reaching burn out she turned to yoga and cold water swimming to find a better balance. A passion which has grown to becoming a qualified yoga teacher and regular sea swimmer.

    Always up for a challenge, Siobhán wants to encourage others to be more yin, take time for themselves and realise the power of slowing down in an otherwise busy life.

    Expect a warm smile, functional teaching approach and an acknowledgement that every body is different but yoga is for everybody.

  • Aoife MacKenzie

    "Hi, I'm Aoife, busy mum passionate about empowering others!'

    Aoife was first drawn to yoga for the physical practice, the rhythmic movement and building strength felt powerful. Over time, she discovered the mental benefits of combining breathwork allowing her to find balance and clarity.

    As a mother of two, Aoife understands first hand the importance of self care. She is passionate about empowering others to improve their life through breath and movement. Aiming to bring balance and calm into hectic lives Aoife teaches from the heart with warmth and compassion.

  • Kari Spence

    "Hi, I'm Kari, founder of KS Fitness!"

    Kari set up her own fitness business in 2021 after being a PE teacher for 6+ years. She has always had a love for movement and exercise and is an advocate to promoting a healthy but balanced lifestyle. Kari also runs an organisation in Rwanda, Girls’ Space which uses the power of sport and movement to enable teenage girls’ in a rural village the opportunity for further education.

    In her spare time you will find Kari adventuring in the outdoors and enjoying a glass or two of Prosecco…. Life is all about balance! 💃

    Being a local to NB she can’t wait to be part of the Move team- let the fun begin 🎉

  • Lisa Ireland

    "Hi, I'm Lisa, lover of Pilates, Barre and beautiful East Lothian!"

    No stranger to East Lothian, Lisa has been teaching classes and small groups Pilates and Barre for many years. Stott Pilates and Barre Concept certified Lisa is an incredibly qualified instructor who breathes life and fun into all her classes, along with keeping a close eye on technique.

    You can expect to enjoy, learn and have fun with Lisa in every class!

  • Tamsyn Cooper

    "Hi, I'm Tamsyn, Yogi and busy mum.”

    Yoga's been a part of Tamsyn's life for nearly 14 years, and she's been sharing the love as a teacher for the last 5 years. She is all about finding calm in the chaos, believing that stretching, movement and a moment of peace are key to keeping balance in our busy lives.

    Tamsyn is a busy mum of two active boys. She makes time to unwind by being out in nature and walking her spaniel.

    Her classes will leave you feeling energised yet relaxed, drawing on her training in Yin, Vinyasa and Ashtanga.

  • Mollie Reading

    "Hi, I'm Mollie, nature and travel lover!"

    Mollie has always been very drawn to Yoga and over the years her interest has turned into a passion and now her lifestyle. Mollie continues to feel her strongest - both physically and, more importantly, mentally whilst on her mat. With 500hrs training and a L2 Fitness instructor you are in good experienced presence with her.

    She feels it is a great privilege to share Yoga and movement with others.

    Over only this past year Mollie has been incredibly fortunate to have taught classes in Bali, India and of course here in Scotland. Her favourite is vinyasa/power vinyasa yoga, which links movement with breath.

    With Mollie you can expect her bubbly enthusiastic personality to help you build strength, flexibility, and find inner calm through Yoga.

  • Bronagh Finlay

    "Hi, I'm Bronagh, beach & sea lover and mental health advocate"

     Bronagh can be found most days down at the beach, whether that is walking her labrador Finn, doing yoga or going for a sea dip. 

    Bronagh works full time as a lawyer and understands the struggle of finding balance day to day. She has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and  recently completed her 200HR YTT at the beginning of 2024. 

    Cold Water Therapy and Yoga have been integral parts of her healing journey. Initially drawn to physical practice, over the years she has developed a deeper appreciation and respect for the other 7 limbs of yoga. She believes that everyone should be an active participant in their own healing journey. Yoga finds you and meets you wherever you are in life, whatever you are going through. It is a powerful and supportive practice whether you choose to focus on movement, breathwork or meditation.

    Bronagh is thrilled to be joining the team at Move. Bronagh trained in hatha yoga and is currently studying seasonal yoga with roots in traditional chinese medicine. She teaches from her own lived experiences. You can expect gentle and flowing yoga classes working with seasonal energies, encouraging you to feel your best at any time of the year. 

  • Sarah Jamison

    "Hi, I’m Sarah, yogi and spreadsheet lover!"

    Sarah is a full time actuary (hence the spreadsheets!) and part time yoga instructor. After some major feet injuries Sarah found healing and a new appreciation of how amazing our bodies are through yoga.

    Sarah is a student of both Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga so you can expect an occasional yoga ‘geek out’ in her classes! She teaches with a focus on svadhyaya or ‘self study’ and loves to use strength-based movement to help students to listen to their body and build confidence in themselves and their practice.

  • Lyndsay Taylor Yoga Teacher North Berwick

    "Hi, I'm Lyndsay, mum and lover of the simple things in life"

    Lyndsay’s background is in Health psychology. She values the benefits of a holistic model of health.

    She is especially passionate about supporting others during pregnancy and post-birth. Since having her daughter in 2022 she has experienced first-hand the importance of mental, emotional, physical and social health in this transitional period of life. She truly believes that yoga is a practice that can nurture each of these areas and allow us to bloom in pregnancy, motherhood and beyond.

    In Lyndsay’s classes you can expect a warm and welcome environment and an emphasis on nurturing your unique body and mind.
